Map of military influence in Syria 08-06-2017
The map of military influence showed (issued by Jusoor Center in May) a slow expansion of FSA, SDF and regime forces, on the account of ISIS.
The map showed the expansion of Opposition forces in Al Badia, in parallel with Al-Assad forces.
Many opposition factions were integrated under FSA umbrella, due to influence overlap.
Areas of contact between opposition and regime did not witness any changes because of De-escalation agreement between the two parties in Astana 2nd conference.
The next months are expected to witness more progress, as FSA and SDF will continue expanding in Eastern region ( Raqqa, Deir Ez-zor and Al Badia) on the account of ISIS while regime forces will try to seize part of ISIS controlled lands (major achievements are not expected from Al-Assad forces).
